Whizz HR is hiring a Quantity Surveyor / Estimation Engineer for a leading interior fit-out company in Dubai.
The role manages cost-related aspects of interior fit-out projects while maintaining value, quality, and compliance.
Work Details
- Work location is Al Quoz, Dubai.
- The stated experience range is one to two years.
- Working days are Monday to Saturday.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare cost estimates, bills of quantities, budgets, and tender assessments for interior fit-out projects.
- Manage procurement quotations, subcontractor negotiations, and cost comparisons.
- Monitor project costs, variances, valuations, payment applications, and subcontractor variations.
- Prepare cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and financial summaries.
- Conduct site visits and support contract administration, risk management, and dispute resolution.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, contracts, and local regulations.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
- One to two years of quantity surveying experience, preferably in interior fit-out.
- Knowledge of interior fit-out materials, methods, and market rates.
- Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and quantity surveying software such as CostX or Candy.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
