About the Role
IFZA Dubai is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor for construction and fit-out projects. You will handle quantity take-offs, cost estimation, procurement, contract administration, and cost control.

- Prepare quantity take offs, BOQs, and cost estimates based on project drawings and specifications
- Analyze project drawings to identify material quantities, labor requirements, and cost implications
- Monitor and control project costs and budgets throughout the project lifecycle
- Evaluate variations, change orders, and additional work and prepare cost analysis
- Assist in preparing payment applications, valuations, and final accounts
- Prepare comparison sheets for subcontractor quotations and supplier proposals
- Prepare and review contracts, subcontract agreements, and commercial terms
- Ensure procurement and subcontracting activities are aligned with contract requirements and project scope
- Assist in managing contractual correspondence, variations, claims, and disputes
- Monitor subcontractor performance in line with contract obligations
- Manage procurement of construction materials, equipment, and subcontractor services
- Review quotations and conduct commercial bid analysis
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Quantity Surveying and Procurement within construction or fit out projects in Dubai
- Proven experience in quantity take offs, BOQ preparation, and cost control
- Experience managing procurement processes and subcontractor coordination
- Familiarity with contract administration, variation management, and claims
- Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management from approved University
- Professionally Qualified Chartered status, RICS, AIQS, CIQS, ASAQS, NZIQS
- Strong knowledge of quantity surveying principles, cost estimation, and BOQ preparation
- Excellent understanding of construction procurement processes and contract administration
- Ability to review and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, AutoCAD and Outlook
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem solving skills
- Good communication and coordination abilities

Job Overview
- The role will be responsible for accurate quantity surveying, cost estimation, procurement of materials and subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with project contracts and budgets.
