About the Role
AECOM is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Cost Engineer with 10+ years of experience and a Bachelor's in Engineering (MEP or Civil) to join their team in Jeddah, KSA.

Responsibilities
- Conduct surveys to ascertain locations of natural features and human made structures using electronic distance measuring equipment and other surveying instruments.
- Operate and manage land information computer systems, including storing data, making inquiries, and producing plots and reports.
- Review information from survey teams regarding measurement of distances, directions, angles, and elevation points.
- Research legal records for evidence of previous boundaries and analyze data to determine boundary line locations.
- Record survey results, verify data accuracy, and prepare plots, maps, and reports.
- Work on complex problems of diverse scope with general direction on new assignments.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Engineering degree (MEP or Civil Engineering specialization)
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in quantity surveying, cost engineering, or related construction disciplines
- Advanced proficiency in land information systems and computer aided surveying software
- Demonstrated expertise in survey data analysis, verification, and technical report preparation
- Comprehensive knowledge of boundary research, legal records analysis, and property demarcation procedures
- Proven ability to manage complex surveying projects of diverse scope and scale
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic or Asian languages is required
- Professional certification or licensure in surveying or cost engineering is preferred
- Established professional track record in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia or Gulf region is advantageous

Job Description
