Role Overview
The employer is hiring a Quantity Surveyor for a contracting company in Dubai.
The role focuses on quantity surveying, cost control, invoicing, variations, claims management, and commercial project monitoring.

Post-Contract and Quantity Surveying
- Prepare quantity take-offs from drawings and project specifications.
- Develop Bills of Materials and cost estimates.
- Analyze drawings and contract documents for project requirements.
- Monitor project costs and maintain cost reports.
- Prepare, evaluate, and negotiate variation orders.
- Prepare contractual claims, extensions of time, and supporting documentation.
- Verify subcontractor measurements, valuations, and payment certificates.
- Monitor project budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Track project expenditures against approved budgets.
- Coordinate with site and procurement teams on commercial matters.
- Maintain cost, variation, and claims records; prepare reports and support profitability forecasting.
Requirements
- Strong experience in quantity surveying, cost control, project invoicing, variations, claims management, and commercial project monitoring.
- Good knowledge of the UAE/GCC construction environment.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
