The Quality Specialist supports quality and accreditation alignment for EMS operations within the Fakeeh Health Care facility.

Quality and Accreditation
- Review, update, and align EMS policies and procedures with international accreditation requirements.
- Conduct gap analyses against accreditation standards and develop compliance action plans.
- Coordinate accreditation survey readiness, including documentation, staff preparation, and evidence collection.
- Maintain current knowledge of accreditation standards and regulatory requirements applicable to EMS.
Policies and Compliance
- Draft, revise, and implement policies, procedures, and clinical guidelines with EMS leadership.
- Ensure documents are standardized, properly formatted, version controlled, and accessible.
- Provide training and orientation to staff on updated or new policies.
- Review EMR documentation and audit EMS operations, clinical documentation, and patient safety practices.
Audits, KPIs, and Reporting
- Track quality and safety KPIs, identify non-conformities, and coordinate corrective and preventive actions.
- Generate and analyze monthly audit reports for internal facility standards and external regulatory requirements.
- Communicate findings to the Quality Risk Management team, Chief Medical Officer, and other organizational units.
- Support KPI validation and collect manually maintained KPIs from assigned end users.
Risk and Patient Safety
- Monitor patient document privacy and confidentiality throughout the Fakeeh Health Care facility.
- Monitor incident reports, near-misses, and adverse events and ensure timely follow-up in the OVR system.
- Support root cause analysis and recommend system improvements to prevent recurrence.
- Promote a safety culture through education and active engagement.
Data and Development
- Collect, analyze, and present quality data, trends, and dashboards for management decision-making.
- Prepare regular quality and compliance reports for the Quality Manager and senior leadership.
- Support research and benchmarking activities for EMS quality improvement.
- Contribute to workshops and professional development on audits, documentation, patient safety, and regulatory compliance.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of healthcare experience, including at least 2 years in a QRM department in a large healthcare facility.
- A bachelor’s degree in a healthcare field is preferred, with an Emergency Medical Services degree along with CPHQ certification or higher identified as an education pathway.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English and Arabic.
- Knowledge of improvement methods, data aggregation and analysis, and risk identification and management.
- Ability to manage high-pressure situations, take ownership, collaborate, adapt, and support service quality.
