Ensure the safe and efficient operation of biomedical equipment through maintenance, repairs, user training, and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities and duties
- Ensure medical equipment is operating properly within the assigned specialty domain and report urgent issues to biomedical engineering leadership.
- Perform or supervise corrective maintenance and confirm completion through signed service reports and system debriefs.
- Perform or supervise scheduled preventive planned maintenance using manufacturer checklists.
- Install and dismantle medical equipment after obtaining required permits and complete acceptance and scrap documentation.
- Control daily requests distributed to Biomedical Technicians and follow up on each job order.
- Suggest required tools, test equipment, service materials, spare parts, and product catalogues.
- Assist Supply Chain in evaluating medical equipment spare-parts offers.
- Verify environmental and technical specifications for new and existing medical equipment on site.
- Provide monthly reports on preventive maintenance plan execution status.
- Respond to urgent incidents and coordinate immediate action with the Biomedical Engineering Manager or Director.
- Control and deliver training required for healthcare facility users.
- Observe and supervise Biomedical Workshop activities.
Requirements
- At least five years of experience in medical equipment service and maintenance in a hospital or medical equipment services provider.
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or Biomedical Engineering.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English; Arabic is preferred.
- Valid license to practice as a Biomedical Engineer from the relevant regulatory authority.
