Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Deliver patient care addressing physical, medical, and cultural needs while maintaining confidentiality and following EMS protocols.
- Operate and maintain EMS vehicles and equipment to ensure reliability and prevent damage.
- Keep EMS vehicles deployment-ready and complete assigned administrative tasks.
- Participate in EMS staff meetings addressing operational updates and care protocols.
- Maintain professional skills through education, awareness activities, and research.
- Anticipate problems, respond appropriately, and contribute to problem-solving.
- Follow the assigned privilege list and approved medical protocols.
- Use medical supplies efficiently and collaborate with staff to foster teamwork.
Experience and Education
- At least one year of experience as an Advanced Life Support (ALS) Paramedic.
- Bachelor's degree in Emergency Medical Services or a higher degree.
- Excellent oral and written command of English and Arabic.
Licenses and Certifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is required.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification is required.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification is required.
- Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) certification is required.
- Emergency Vehicle Operator Safety (EVOS) certification is required.
- A valid light transportation driving license and SCFHS credential are required.
- A STEP English Test score of at least 65% or IELTS score of at least 5.0 is required.
