Job Purpose
Conduct laboratory testing and quality-control inspections on sand products.
Ensure products comply with company, client, specification, and industry requirements.
Laboratory Testing and Analysis
- Perform routine and specialized testing of sand samples, including sieve, grain size, moisture, turbidity, and specific gravity tests.
- Conduct applicable API and ISO testing for oilfield sand and frac sand.
- Record and interpret test results accurately and promptly.
- Operate and calibrate laboratory instruments.
Quality Control
- Monitor incoming raw materials and finished products against specifications.
- Identify deviations and support CAPA for non-conforming materials.
- Assist with quality procedures and process improvements.
Documentation and Equipment
- Maintain laboratory records, test logs, reports, and ISO/QMS documentation.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports.
- Clean, maintain, and calibrate equipment and coordinate repairs.
