About the Role
Sunbulah Group seeks a Quality Control Officer to monitor food safety and quality programs in Jeddah. The role involves inspecting raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with standards.

Responsibilities
- Monitor implemented food safety and quality program based on company, customer, legal, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor quality assurance policies for inspecting and controlling raw materials, in process, and finished products.
- Ensure effective calibration of instruments and devices used in production and testing.
- Ensure manufacturing area and production lines hygiene through pre operational checks.
- Ensure integrity of raw materials, in process, and finished products storage.
- Ensure CPs and CCPs are tested according to HACCP plans.
- Maintain records and documents including formula test results and inspections.
- Collaborate with other functions to troubleshoot product complaints.
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Food science/technology/Microbiology or related field
- 2+ years in Food manufacturing quality control
- Knowledge of local and international food regulations
- Good in English (spoken/written)
- Excellent communication skills

Policies, Processes & Procedures
- Responsible for monitoring the implemented food safety and quality program.
- Monitor quality assurance policies for inspecting and controlling raw materials, in process, and finished products.
Day to Day Operations
- Monitors facilities and manufacturing operations for conformance with procedures.
- Ensuring effective calibration of all instruments and devices.
- Ensuring manufacturing area and production lines hygiene.
- Ensuring integrity of raw materials, in process and finished products storage.
- Ensuring CPs and CCPs are tested according to HACCP plans.
- Ensures maintenance of required records and documents.
- Collaborates with other functions to troubleshoot product complaints.
- Coordinates and aids in operational problem evaluation.
Job Specific Accountabilities
- Responsibility to ensure product technical requirements are met.
- Monitoring for online product sampling for food microbiology, chemistry and organoleptic testing.
- Responsibility to report food handler food safety training need.
Continuous Improvement
- Continual improvement on the QMS & FSMS by implementing internationally recognized food safety and quality systems.
Safety, Quality & Environment
- Complies with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies.
Reporting
- Prepares On line checks for raw materials quality & food safety monitoring.
Qualifications & Skills
- B.Sc. in Food science/technology/Microbiology or related field.
- Work experience: 2+ years in Food manufacturing quality control.
- Knowledge of local and international food regulations.
- Good in English (spoken/written).
- Excellent communication skills.
