Role Description
The Quality Control Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Abu Dhabi.
The role supports the quality team in inspecting materials, components, and completed work against company standards and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine quality checks and document inspection results.
- Assist with laboratory testing of materials and components where applicable.
- Report non-conformities to supervisors.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and safety teams to implement corrective actions.
- Maintain quality records and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support internal audits and prepare quality documentation for clients and regulatory bodies.
Qualifications
- Strong quality control and quality assurance skills, with the ability to follow established procedures and standards.
- Analytical skills to review data, identify deviations, and support root cause analysis.
- Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and reporting findings.
- Basic laboratory skills for tests, measurements, and samples related to materials and components.
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety and compliance in a marine or industrial environment.
- Relevant technical diploma or degree in engineering, quality, or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with quality management systems, including ISO standards, is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Abu Dhabi and adapt to a fast-paced, project-based environment.
