Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain the quality assurance plans and procedures to ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of quality control processes and recommend improvements as necessary.
- Prepare and maintain quality related documentation, including inspection reports, test plans, and non conformance reports (NCRs).
- Conduct regular site inspections to verify that construction processes and materials comply with quality standards and project specifications.
- Coordinate and oversee material testing, including concrete strength, soil compaction, and welding inspections.
- Collaborate with project teams, including engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers, to ensure quality standards are achieved.
- Communicate quality related issues and discrepancies to project management and provide solutions or corrective actions.
- Provide quality training and awareness sessions for site staff and other stakeholders.
- Stay updated on industry trends, standards, and best practices in quality assurance and construction quality management.
- Conduct internal and external audits to assess compliance with quality standards and regulations.
- Prepare for third party audits and inspections and address any findings or recommendations.
