About the Role

- Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate cost estimates for civil construction projects
- Prepare quantity take offs and cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure estimates align with project goals and constraints
- Participate in pre bid meetings and site visits to assess project scope and conditions
- Maintain and organize drawing files and related documents in accordance with company standards
- Assist in the preparation of tender submissions, bid documents, and project proposals
- Monitor cost trends and provide feedback on project budgeting and forecasting
- Support value engineering and cost saving initiatives
