About the Role

- Prepare and maintain quality related documentation, including inspection reports, test plans, and non conformance reports (NCRs).
- Conduct regular site inspections to verify that construction processes and materials comply with quality standards and project specifications.
- Coordinate and oversee material testing, including concrete strength, soil compaction, and welding inspections.
- Collaborate with project teams, including engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers, to ensure quality standards are achieved.
- Communicate quality related issues and discrepancies to project management and provide solutions or corrective actions.
- Provide quality training and awareness sessions for site staff and other stakeholders.
- Conduct internal and external audits to assess compliance with quality standards and regulations.
- Prepare for third party audits and inspections and address any findings or recommendations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- Proven experience as a QA/QC Engineer in the construction industry (minimum 3 to 5 years preferred)
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and quality assurance concepts
- Familiarity with relevant quality standards (ISO 9001, ASTM, ACI standards, etc.)
- Proficiency in quality inspection tools and software
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem solving skills
- Professional certifications (e.g., CQI, CQA, or similar) are a plus

Role Description
- This is a full time, on site Quality Assurance Quality Control Engineer role based in Dubai. The QA/QC Engineer will oversee and implement project quality plans, ensuring compliance with company standards, client specifications, and relevant codes for civil, structural, and MEP works.
