- Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate cost estimates for civil construction projects
- Prepare quantity take offs and cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure estimates align with project goals
- Participate in pre bid meetings and site visits to assess project scope and conditions
- Maintain and organize drawing files and related documents in accordance with company standards
- Assist in the preparation of tender submissions, bid documents, and project proposals
- Monitor cost trends and provide feedback on project budgeting and forecasting
- Support value engineering and cost saving initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in civil estimating or related construction roles
- Strong knowledge of civil construction methods, materials, and codes
- Proficient in estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, HeavyBid, PlanSwift, AutoCAD, or similar)
- Strong mathematical, analytical, and organizational skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast paced environment

Job Overview
- We are seeking a detail oriented and experienced Civil Estimation Engineer to join our construction team.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately estimating the costs associated with civil construction projects, including infrastructure, site development, earthworks, roads, and utilities.
- The Civil Estimation Engineer will analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive cost estimates and bids.
