About the Role
SAM Building Contracting LLC is seeking a Project/Site Engineer (MEP) to supervise MEP activities on construction sites in Dubai. The role involves project execution, quality control, HSE compliance, and testing/commissioning of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire fighting, and ELV systems.

Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor daily MEP activities at the construction site
- Ensure all MEP works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, local authority regulations, and contract requirements
- Coordinate with project managers, consultants, subcontractors, and other engineering disciplines
- Review construction drawings and identify discrepancies, conflicts, or design issues
- Conduct site inspections to ensure work quality and compliance
- Prepare and monitor project work schedules and resource requirements
- Coordinate procurement and delivery of MEP materials, equipment, and tools
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely completion
- Attend project progress meetings and provide technical inputs and updates
- Coordinate testing, commissioning, and handover activities
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies and site HSE requirements
- Maintain site records, daily reports, progress reports, and inspection records
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline
- Minimum 4–8 years of experience in MEP construction projects
- GCC/UAE contracting company experience preferred
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and ELV systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Understanding of testing and commissioning procedures
- Knowledge of UAE building codes, DEWA, ADDC, SEWA, Civil Defense, and municipality regulations
- Valid UAE Driving License preferred

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor daily MEP activities at the construction site.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
- Valid UAE Driving License preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 4–8 years of experience in MEP construction projects.
- GCC/UAE contracting company experience preferred.
- Experience in residential, commercial, industrial, or high rise building projects.
- Familiarity with local authority requirements and approvals in the UAE.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and ELV systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Understanding of testing and commissioning procedures.
- Familiarity with project planning and scheduling software is an advantage.
- Knowledge of UAE building codes, DEWA, ADDC, SEWA, Civil Defense, and municipality regulations.
