QA/QC Inspector

Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily inspections of civil, structural, architectural, and finishing works.
• Ensure construction follows approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and ITPs.
• Inspect materials, workmanship, completed works, and incoming materials for compliance.
• Prepare, review, and follow up on WIR/IR and MIR submissions.
• Monitor reinforcement, formwork, concrete, blockwork, plastering, waterproofing, screeding, tiling, painting, and other finishing works.
• Review checklists, test reports, inspection records, and QA/QC documentation.
• Identify defects and non-conformities and coordinate corrective and preventive actions.
• Raise and follow up on NCRs and observations until satisfactory closure.
• Coordinate inspections with site teams, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and third-party laboratories.
• Participate in consultant and client inspections, quality meetings, internal audits, and third-party inspections.
• Maintain quality records, inspection reports, snag lists, and handover documentation.
• Support the quality management system, ISO 9001 requirements, recurring-issue prevention, and project close-out.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction, or a related technical discipline.
• 8–10 years of relevant QA/QC experience in construction and contracting.
• Construction or contracting company experience is mandatory.
• Strong hands-on experience in site inspection and construction quality control.
• Experience with WIR/IR, MIR, ITPs, method statements, checklists, NCRs, test reports, and quality records.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Knowledge of civil, structural, architectural, and finishing construction activities.
• UAE or Dubai construction experience is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of UAE construction standards and authority requirements is advantageous.
• Experience with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and third-party laboratories.
• Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Word and Excel.
• Aconex or other document-control system experience is advantageous.

Compensation

• Salary is AED 8,000–10,000 per month.

• Work location is in person in Dubai, UAE.
