About the Role

Responsibilities
- Conduct incoming, in process, and final quality inspections to ensure compliance with customer specifications and quality standards
- Monitor production processes and product quality throughout manufacturing operations
- Perform routine quality checks on raw materials, work in progress, and finished goods
- Identify quality defects, deviations, and non conformities and coordinate corrective and preventive actions
- Prepare and maintain quality reports, inspection records, test results, and non conformance documentation
- Support internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of audit findings
- Train production personnel on quality standards and inspection procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Polymer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, Packaging Technology, or related field
- 3–5 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control within Plastic Packaging, Flexible Packaging, Label Manufacturing, or related industry
- Hands on experience in plastic packaging manufacturing, labels, shrink sleeves, flexible packaging, or related converting operations
- Experience with customer quality audits, process quality control, and root cause analysis
- Exposure to ISO 9001 and quality management systems preferred

Mission
- To ensure that all plastic packaging and label products meet established quality standards, customer specifications, regulatory requirements, and company quality objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct incoming, in process, and final quality inspections to ensure compliance with customer specifications and quality standards.
- Monitor production processes and product quality throughout manufacturing operations.
- Perform routine quality checks on raw materials, work in progress, and finished goods.
- Ensure plastic packaging, labels, and related products meet dimensional, visual, functional, and performance requirements.
- Review production samples and approve quality standards before mass production runs.
- Verify color consistency, print quality, adhesion, registration, lamination quality, sealing performance, and overall product appearance where applicable.
- Monitor critical quality parameters and maintain inspection records.
- Identify quality defects, deviations, and non conformities during production and final inspection stages.
- Investigate customer complaints, internal quality issues, and product failures to determine root causes.
- Coordinate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) with Production, Maintenance, and other relevant departments.
- Ensure rejected materials and non conforming products are properly documented and segregated.
- Conduct quality audits on production processes and operational procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Polymer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, Packaging Technology, or a related field.
Experience Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control within the Plastic Packaging, Flexible Packaging, Label Manufacturing, Packaging Conversion, or Printing Industry.
- Hands on experience in plastic packaging manufacturing, labels, shrink sleeves, flexible packaging, or related converting operations.
- Experience with customer quality audits, process quality control, and root cause analysis.
- Exposure to ISO 9001 and quality management systems is preferred.
- Experience working in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
