Join the engineering team as a Python Backend Engineer supporting an AI-driven SaaS platform.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-availability backend systems.
Responsibilities
- Build backend services and production applications using Python and FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
- Design secure RESTful and GraphQL APIs, microservices, and distributed backend systems.
- Integrate payment, CRM, AI, communication, and other external SaaS services.
- Design database schemas, optimize SQL queries, and work with relational and NoSQL storage.
- Implement authentication and authorization with JWT, OAuth2, and API keys.
- Write automated tests, monitor production systems, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance.
- Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, QA, product, and AI teams on architecture, reviews, and planning.
Required qualifications
- At least 5 years of professional Python backend development experience.
- Strong Python proficiency and experience with FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
- Strong knowledge of REST and GraphQL design, scalable architectures, and software design principles.
- Experience with PostgreSQL and/or MySQL plus NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Redis.
- Experience with Git, collaborative workflows, asynchronous programming, and automated testing.
- Understanding of Docker, containerized applications, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong debugging, performance optimization, analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred experience
- AI or LLM integrations including OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or DeepSeek.
- LangChain or other AI agent frameworks.
- Celery, RabbitMQ, Kafka, or other background and message queue technologies.
- WebSockets, Elasticsearch, Kubernetes, cloud platforms, Nginx, or Linux administration.
- Multi-tenant SaaS architecture and CRM integrations such as Salesforce, Zoho, HubSpot, or Odoo.
