Role Overview
Join the engineering team as a Python Backend Engineer supporting an AI-driven SaaS platform.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems that support secure, reliable product functionality.
Responsibilities
- Develop Python services and production applications using FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
- Design secure RESTful and GraphQL APIs, scalable microservices, and distributed backend systems.
- Integrate payment gateways, CRM systems, AI platforms, communication services, and external SaaS providers.
- Design database schemas, optimize SQL queries, and work with PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, MongoDB, and other storage technologies.
- Implement JWT, OAuth2, and API-key authentication and authorization mechanisms.
- Write maintainable code, automated tests, and technical documentation following clean architecture principles.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize backend performance in production environments.
- Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, QA, product, and AI engineering teams on architecture, reviews, and planning.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional Python backend development experience.
- Strong Python programming proficiency and experience with FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
- Strong understanding of REST API, GraphQL, scalable architecture, object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, and design patterns.
