Responsibilities
- Analyze spend patterns, supplier markets, and operational requirements to develop sourcing strategies for CAPEX, MRO, Engineering Services, and Industrial categories.
- Implement procurement best practices, sourcing governance frameworks, and standard operating procedures.
- Conduct supplier benchmarking, total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis, cost modeling, and market intelligence activities.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction, supplier consolidation, and process optimization initiatives.
- Lead end to end sourcing activities in collaboration with Manufacturing, Engineering, PMO, and Operations stakeholders.
- Lead contract drafting, negotiation support, implementation, and compliance monitoring activities.
- Monitor supplier performance against defined KPIs and service level agreements.
- Develop alternate sourcing strategies and supply continuity plans to minimize operational risk.
- Manage RFI/RFQ/RFP processes, including technical and commercial evaluations.
- Oversee PO creation, modifications, and open PO follow up activities.
- Resolve operational procurement issues including delivery delays, quality concerns, blocked invoices, and GRN discrepancies.
- Prepare procurement KPI dashboards, savings reports, and spend analytics presentations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Petroleum, Industrial, or Production Engineering)
- 8 10 years of procurement experience within FMCG, with core experience in Capex & MRO
- Experience in SAP (S2P), Tableau & Power BI
- MBA, APICS, CPIM, CPSM, or equivalent procurement/supply chain certifications preferred

Purpose of the Role
- The Purchase Manager – CAPEX & MRO is responsible for leading strategic sourcing and procurement activities across CAPEX, MRO, Engineering Services, and Industrial categories within SADAFCO operations.
- The role supports cost optimization, supplier performance management, operational reliability, working capital improvement, and procurement transformation initiatives aligned with operational excellence objectives.
- This position partners closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, PMO, Finance, Logistics, Legal, and Operations teams to convert business requirements into effective procurement strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze spend patterns, supplier markets, and operational requirements to develop sourcing strategies for CAPEX, MRO, Engineering Services, and Industrial categories.
- Implement procurement best practices, sourcing governance frameworks, and standard operating procedures.
- Conduct supplier benchmarking, total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis, cost modeling, and market intelligence activities.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction, supplier consolidation, and process optimization initiatives.
- Lead end to end sourcing activities in collaboration with Manufacturing, Engineering, PMO, and Operations stakeholders.
- Increase spend coverage through strategic supplier agreements and long term partnerships.
- Lead contract drafting, negotiation support, implementation, and compliance monitoring activities.
- Collaborate with Legal and business stakeholders to ensure contracts adequately protect company interests.
- Monitor supplier compliance with contractual obligations, procurement policies, and governance standards.
- Monitor supplier performance against defined KPIs and service level agreements.
- Develop alternate sourcing strategies and supply continuity plans to minimize operational risk.
- Conduct supplier audits and cross functional supplier review meetings.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Petroleum, Industrial, or Production Engineering) is mandatory.
- 8 10 years of procurement experience within FMCG, with core experience in Capex & MRO is mandatory.
- Experience in SAP (S2P), Tableau & Power BI is mandatory.
- MBA, APICS, CPIM, CPSM, or equivalent procurement/supply chain certifications are preferred.
