About the Role
SADAFCO seeks a Production Planner to organize daily and weekly factory supply and demand planning. The role involves creating production schedules based on sales forecasts, ensuring material availability, and supervising storekeepers and workers.

Responsibilities
- Liaise with Supply Chain to get updated sales forecast and create weekly and monthly production plans considering capacity, capability, and constraints
- Ensure availability of primary and secondary packaging materials, raw materials, and additional materials on time
- Prepare supply plans for third party items
- Provide continuous daily feedback to keep scheduling info up to date
- Communicate and execute production schedule changes for unplanned events
- Ensure MO is created on time and back flush reports reflect actual results
- Control and maintain finished goods inventory level within limits
- Supervise and organize other assigned activities and planning duties
- Recruit, hire, train and coach store keepers, forklift drivers and workers, and assess their performance
- Follow good manufacturing practices (GMPs) and good hygiene practices (GHPs)
- Escalate critical situations (Out of stock, delivery delays, product defects)
- Participate in daily, weekly and monthly meetings to provide plant performance data and KPIs
Requirements
- Diploma/Bachelor Degree in business administration or related field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant planning experience in the FMCG industry
- Good MS Office knowledge, excellent MS Excel skills
- ERP knowledge and understanding is a must
- Excellent planning, scheduling and organizational skills
- Excellent experience in materials handling
- Very good verbal & written communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus

Purpose of the job
- Organize the daily and weekly factory’s supply and demand planning tasks based on sales forecast to create a detailed and achievable production schedule ensuring efficient and uninterrupted flow of quality finished goods.
Key Accountabilities
- Liaise with Supply Chain to get updated sales forecast and create weekly and monthly production plans considering factory capacity, capability, and constraints.
- Ensure all primary and secondary packaging materials, raw materials, and additional materials are available on time and stored as per standards.
- Prepare supply plans for third party items.
- Provide continuous daily feedback to keep scheduling info up to date.
- Communicate and execute production schedule changes for unplanned events.
- Ensure MO is created on time and back flush reports reflect actual results.
- Control and maintain finished goods inventory level within limits and liaise with technical projects team for shutdowns and major services.
- Supervise and organize other assigned activities and planning duties.

Job Requirements
- Educational level: Diploma/ Bachelor Degree in business administration or related field.
- Minimum 5 Years of relevant planning experience in the FMCG industry.
- Good MS office knowledge, excellent MS excel skills.
- Strong time management skills with ability to prioritize, multi task and work under pressure.
- ERP knowledge and understanding is a must.
- Excellent planning, scheduling and organizational skills.
- Excellent experience in materials handling.
- Languages: Very good verbal & written communication skills in English, Arabic is a plus.

- Familiarity with SKUs creation, BOMs and materials masters updates.
