About the Role

Responsibilities
- Implement the approved production strategy to meet factory and business goals
- Plan all production activities to deliver the production plan as per time and budget targets
- Identify bottlenecks within the production process and ensure resolution
- Regularly analyze Production Performance Data and communicate trends to management
- Continuously improve standards by facilitating and executing appropriate methodologies
- Audit and monitor the operating system (SOS) and lead Continuous Improvement and Lean activities
- Strictly follow company product quality rules and ensure staff adherence
- Recruit, select, and develop staff; manage performance of direct reports
- Ensure safe operating practices and adherence to Health and Safety policies
- Manage total conversion costs and apply Continuous Improvement principles to optimize costs
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor degree in Food Science/Technology or similar education
- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in a similar role
- Experience in the dairy manufacturing industry or a similar industry
- Well versed with knowledge of Lean processes and problem solving techniques
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of dairy manufacturing processes
- Proven leader and influencer at all levels
- Ability to work in a multicultural and multinational team
- Fluent in English (written & spoken)
- Knowledge of Arabic is a plus

Purpose of the job
- Lead and optimize all aspects of production from mixing, processing, filling and palletizing in accordance with SADAFCO’s standards and international best practices to achieve production output in the most cost effective and efficient way.
Key Accountabilities
- Implement the approved production strategy so as to meet the goals of the factory and the overall business strategy.
- Plan all production activities so as to deliver the production plan of the factory as per time and budget targets.
- Identify bottlenecks within the production process and report the same. Thereafter ensure that all bottlenecks are resolved through laid down problem solving methodologies with the relevant production team members.
- Regular analysis of Production Performance Data whereby development, trends and improvement opportunities are identified and communicated internally using visual management standards to the production and the factory management team.
- Continuously improve standards set by facilitating and executing appropriate methodologies as per Continuous Improvement principles
- Regularly Audit and monitor the operating system (SOS) and take the lead for Continuous Improvement and Lean activities.
- Strictly follow company product quality rules and ensure all the staff adherence to the parameters
Job Requirements
- Educational level: Minimum Bachelor degree in Food Science/Technology or similar education
- Minimum experience: 6 years of relevant experience in a similar role
- Experience in the dairy manufacturing industry or a similar industry
- Well versed with knowledge of Lean processes and problem solving techniques
- Have extensive knowledge and understanding of dairy manufacturing processes
- A proven leader and influencer at all levels
- Ability to work in a multicultural and multinational team
- Ability to manage the stress in a fast moving environment
- Self motivated with the ability to take on additional responsibilities
- Languages: Fluent in English (written & spoken) is a must. Knowledge of Arabic is a plus
