About the Role
PIPECARE Group is hiring a Purchase Officer to manage procurement activities including supplier follow-up, port clearance, and purchasing for manufacturing operations in Sharjah.

Responsibilities
- Handle purchasing activities including RFQ, purchase requisition, and purchase order creation
- Receive and manage stores material, submit GRN to accounts
- Attend purchasing related audits and meetings with suppliers
- Handle petty cash procurement and transportation requests from logistics
- Send RFQ and collect quotes from suppliers
- Create item codes and purchase orders
- Follow up on approvals and payments with accounts department
- Prepare price comparisons for account approval
- Search for new suppliers and manage supplier registration and approval
- Negotiate with suppliers on delivery time, discount, and payment terms
- Reconcile MTC/DO/Invoices for QC and accounts purposes
- Create work orders as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Engineering or Supply Chain
- Experience in international purchase
- 3 5 years of experience in similar position
- Preferable to have previous experience in Manufacturing, FMCG or Automotive industry
- Experience and good knowledge of the market (customers, systems, providers)
- Knowledge of English language
- Knowledge of ERP systems
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to walk and climb in a refinery or plant environment

Skills/Experience
- Bachelor degree in Engineering or Supply Chain
- Experience in international purchase
- With 3 5 years of experience in similar position

- Knowledge of English language.

Physical and Mental Requirements
- Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Mobility: Must be able to walk and climb to perform duties, including maneuvering within a refinery or plant environment and accessing elevated platforms via ladders and stairwells
- Communication: Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing, or other communication capabilities, to communicate effectively
- Focus and Multitasking: Ability to maintain focus and multitask effectively
- Safety Equipment: Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection, if/where needed in manufacturing environments.
- Personal Mobility and Reflexes: Sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes, with or without reasonable accommodations, to perform office duties and travel to off site locations when necessary
