Purchase Manager

The Procurement Manager will direct and manage the overall procurement and sourcing strategy for raw materials and packaging materials.

This includes vendor management, price negotiations, supplier quality, and ensuring smooth supply chain integration to support production while controlling costs and inventory risk.

The role involves developing and executing procurement strategies aligned with company goals, and advising senior leadership on market trends, pricing fluctuations, and risk mitigation for key raw and packaging materials.

On the operational side, it covers end to end procurement of raw materials and packaging at the best cost and quality, leading supplier negotiations and annual contracts, and maintaining long term vendor relationships.

The role also owns inventory management to prevent stockouts, overstocking, and expired stock, along with regular supplier evaluations and audits on quality, delivery, and compliance.

A key part of the role is ensuring strict adherence to SFDA, Municipality, MODON, and internal food safety and quality standards, including GMP, HACCP, and ISO, across all purchased materials.

We are looking for someone with a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Food Science, or a related field, a Master's degree would be an advantage.

The ideal candidate should have 8 to 10 plus years of progressive procurement experience within the Food and Beverage, FMCG, or Bakery manufacturing industry, along with a proven track record in vendor negotiation, strategic sourcing, contract fundamentals, and cost analysis.
