About the Role
Accor is hiring a Public Area Attendant to maintain cleanliness in lobby, public areas, and heart-of-house areas of a hotel. Responsibilities include cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, and assisting guests.

Responsibilities
- Clean the lobby, dust/mop floors, dust furniture, wipe tables, polish brass, clean ashtrays, dispose garbage
- Spot and vacuum carpet in restaurant and public areas as per scheduled time
- Dust walls, counters, telephones and fixtures
- Clean guest lifts, brass, mirrors, walls and carpets periodically
- Make sure storeroom is clean and tidy and cleaning equipment is clean, well maintained and properly stored
- Advise Supervisor of any repairs or maintenance work required
- Deposit all Lost and Found articles in Housekeeping office immediately
- Service public toilets when assigned
- Adhere to safety regulations
- Attend and participate in continuous training programs
Requirements
- Preferably has minimum 1 year experience in a 4 5 star Hotel

- Reports for duty on time, in proper uniform and signs attendance sheet in and out daily.
- Receives work assignment and supplies from Supervisor, signs for the key in key log.
- Cleans the lobby, dust/mops floors, dusts furniture, wipes tables, polishes brass, clean ashtrays, disposes garbage and cleans heart of house areas.
- Carries out special work as and when assigned.
- Spots and vacuums carpet in restaurant and public areas as per scheduled time.
- Dusts walls, counters, telephones and fixtures.
- Cleans guest lifts, brass, mirrors, walls and carpets periodically.
- Makes sure storeroom is clean and tidy.
- Makes sure cleaning equipment is clean, well maintained and properly stored.
- Advises Supervisor of any repairs or maintenance work required.
- Reports all broken or out of order items to Supervisor immediately.
- Deposits all Lost and Found articles in Housekeeping office immediately.
Qualifications
- Preferably has minimum 1 year experience in a 4 5 star Hotel.
