Role Description
- The Revenue Manager is a part time, hybrid role based in Dubai, with flexibility for some work from home arrangements.
- Oversee revenue planning, forecasting, and performance tracking across advertising, subscriptions, and partnerships.
- Day to day tasks include analyzing revenue reports, monitoring key performance indicators, and optimizing pricing and packages to maximize profitability.
- Collaborate with finance, sales, and editorial teams to ensure accurate revenue recognition and alignment with business goals.
- Support budgeting processes, identify growth opportunities, and recommend data driven strategies to improve overall revenue management.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills, including ability to interpret complex data sets and create actionable insights.
- Proficiency in revenue management and revenue recognition, preferably within a media, publishing, or digital business environment.
- Solid foundation in finance and accounting, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Advanced skills in spreadsheet and financial modeling tools (e.g., Excel or similar) and familiarity with reporting software.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work effectively in cross functional teams.
- Detail oriented and organized, with strong time management skills suitable for a part time, hybrid work arrangement.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field; professional certifications in finance or accounting are an advantage.
- Knowledge of the Dubai and wider UAE business environment is beneficial, along with an interest in media and publishing.
