Support D2L’s global Revenue organization by writing creative and compelling proactive / unsolicited proposals, pitch documents, presentation leave behinds, and other custom sales collateral that differentiates D2L from our competitors and helps generate new business.
Manage creation of multiple sales documents on tight schedules and under elevated pressure.
Perform writing and editing to ensure sales documents are interesting, compelling, succinct, and error-free.
Enforce approved style guidelines and ensure a consistent look and feel of all outgoing documents.
Contribute to the expansion and enhancement of the custom request program.]
Identify opportunities for efficiencies (e.g., creating repeatable, self-serve templates) and enhanced productivity.
Work cross functionally with subject matter experts within the organization to create sales documents while maintaining a technical understanding of D2L product and service offerings.
Facilitate document reviews.
Provide feedback on content library articles and contribute new content articles.
Develop and cultivate strong relationships with relevant areas of the business to help strengthen partnerships and success within the team
Review, edit, and provide guidance on the creation of cover letters, executive summaries, and other key parts of proposals as needed
Work with other Proposal team members to create and improve best practices that ensure team operations are successful and efficient
Manage and support operational activities (e.g., building how-to resources for team and other stakeholders across D2L, updating team templates, support content initiatives, etc.).

2+ years’ experience in a fast-paced, high volume writing environment.
Experience in high-tech industry is preferred.

Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Ability to effectively use AI-enabled tools and emerging best practices to support proposal writing, content development, operational efficiency, and high-quality deliverables.
Experience with proposal automation software considered an asset
Ability to work independently and as part of a team; ability to adhere to strict deadlines
Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Business, Technical Writing, English, Communications, or Journalism
The expected base salary range for a new hire in this role is listed below. The annualized base salary offered is determined by each candidate’s relevant knowledge, skills, education, training and experience. It is aligned to ensure both internal and external competitiveness using market data for the geographic location and industry.
