We are Hiring a Talented Proposal Engineer - Wastewater Treatment for one of our clients in Sharjah.
The Candidate will be responsible for preparing, developing, and managing technical and commercial proposals for wastewater treatment projects.
This role involves close coordination with the engineering, sales, and project teams to ensure accurate and competitive bids that meet client requirements and company objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and prepare comprehensive technical proposals for wastewater treatment projects, including process design, equipment selection, and scope of work.
- Analyze client specifications, tender documents, and project requirements to develop tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, procurement, and project management teams to gather necessary information and develop accurate proposals.
- Prepare cost estimates, pricing strategies, and commercial terms in coordination with the sales and finance departments.
- Ensure all proposals comply with local environmental regulations and industry standards.
- Respond to technical queries during the tendering process and participate in client meetings and presentations.
- Maintain a repository of standard documents, technical specifications, and previous proposals for efficient proposal development.
- Support business development efforts by identifying opportunities and contributing to marketing materials.
- Stay updated on the latest technologies and industry trends in wastewater treatment.
- Assist in contract negotiations and prepare post-award documentation as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in wastewater treatment project proposal preparation or related engineering roles.
- Strong technical knowledge of wastewater treatment processes, equipment, and industry standards.
- Experience with project cost estimation and tendering procedures.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in proposal management tools and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Knowledge of UAE environmental regulations and standards is preferred.
- Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are a plus.
