Responsibilities
- Responsible for technical and commercial bid preparation, tender clarifications with the customer to convert enquiries into orders
- Prepare cost estimate, submit quotations, follow up quotation with customers to win order
- Provide technical support for sales, project management and engineering
- Coordinate with site engineer, engineering and procurement department, 3rd parties to achieve offer preparation on time
- Handover of acquired project and execution team/project manager & coordination with execution team for acquisition of project
- Coordinate with Procurement Department for defining inquiries to external suppliers and support negotiating with suppliers
- Assist other colleagues/department as and when required like Siemens One to promote interdepartmental cooperation
- Review customer requirements/specifications in detail and come up with most optimized technical and commercial solution giving Siemens competitive edge
- Anticipate project risk(s) at time of offering and mitigate risk during execution
- Ensure up to date market information through internal and external partners
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering (Protection Automation System)
- 5 10 years experience as a Proposal Engineer
- Knowledge of protection systems, product portfolio, automation engineering concept in general and IT software
- Experience in SCMS products & systems, knowledge in IEC61850, Modbus, Profibus, IEC 101, IEC 104 or other communication protocols
- Experience in Cyber Security solutions in SCMS (Intrusion Detection System, Whitelisting, Backup, logging etc.) as per IEC standards
- Ability to work in an international team or environment
- Well versant with PC application software (Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, VISIO etc); MS Projects, Primavera
- Certification as Project Manager under PM@Siemens or IPMA Level C is an advantage

You‘ll make a difference by
- Responsible for technical and commercial bid preparation, tender clarifications with the customer in order to convert enquiries into orders

- Experience in SCMS products & systems. Knowledge in IEC61850, Modbus, Profibus, IEC 101, IEC 104 or other communication protocols relevant in the energy automation field
- Experience in Cyber Security solutions in the SCMS ( Intrusion Detection System, Whitelisting, Backup, logging etc..) as per the IEC standards.

Your success is grounded in
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering (Protection Automaton System).
- Certification as Project Manager under PM@Siemens or IPMA Level C is an advantage
- 5 10 years’ experience as a Proposal Engineer
- Able to work in an international team or in an international environment – Teamwork
- Has knowledge of protection systems, product portfolio, Automation engineering concept in general and IT software’s.
- To be able to understand the customer specifications and requirements.
- Well versant with PC application software (Microsoft office, Microsoft Project, VISIO etc); MS Projects, Primavera
- Ability to work proactively on own initiative, as well as in a team environment
