Role Overview
Projects Engineer role supporting food-industry Greenfield and Brownfield developments.
The position covers engineering coordination, project cost and quality management, layouts, utilities, contractors, and operational problem-solving.
Role Responsibilities
- Manage civil, electrical, and mechanical project cost and quality activities.
- Read engineering drawings, prepare RFPs, evaluate quotations, and manage contractors.
- Plan production line layouts and resolve operational, logistics, and process challenges.
- Work with steam, water, compressed air, and other utility systems.
- Use SAP PM and basic AutoCAD drafting skills.
- Support continuous improvement, inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, and HSE compliance.
Candidate Profile
- Diploma in a mechanical or electrical-related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering is advantageous.
- Minimum five years of related experience.
- Business proficiency in English; Arabic is advantageous.
- Knowledge of food processing technology, food safety, project cost management, and quality management.
- Strong organizational, communication, coordination, problem-solving, and independent-working skills.
- Safety-conscious and disciplined approach with commitment to HSE standards.
