The Project Reporting Specialist is responsible for developing, maintaining, and delivering accurate, timely, and insightful project reports.
The role supports project teams and senior management by ensuring visibility into project performance, risks, progress, and key metrics across all ongoing initiatives.
1. Project Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare periodic project status reports (daily, weekly, monthly).
- Consolidate data from multiple projects into portfolio-level dashboards.
- Track project KPIs including schedule, cost, scope, and performance metrics.
- Provide variance analysis and highlight deviations from project plans.
- **2. Dashboard & Data Management**
- Develop and maintain reporting dashboards (Excel, Power BI, or similar tools).
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of project data.
- Automate reporting processes to improve efficiency where possible.
- **3. Stakeholder Communication**
- Deliver clear and concise reports to project managers and senior stakeholders.
- Present insights, trends, and key risks in an easy-to-understand format.
- Support management decision-making through data-driven recommendations.
- **4. Coordination & Support**
- Collaborate with project managers to gather updates and validate data.
- Ensure adherence to reporting standards and governance frameworks.
- Support PMO in audits, reviews, and performance evaluations.
- **5. Risk & Issue Tracking**
- Maintain risk and issue logs and track mitigation progress.
- Highlight critical risks and escalate as needed.
- Monitor project changes and impact on schedule and cost.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
- 3–6 years of experience in project reporting, project controls, or PMO roles.
- Experience working on large-scale projects (construction, IT, infrastructure preferred).
