Role Overview
We are seeking a Project Planning Manager responsible for leading the planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring functions across construction projects. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with contractual and strategic requirements.
Key Accountabilities
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
- Establish baseline programs aligned with project scope and milestones.
- Define work breakdown structures (WBS) and planning methodologies.
- Monitor project progress against approved schedules.
- Identify delays, risks, and critical path impacts.
- Develop mitigation and recovery strategies for schedule delays.
- Lead schedule updates, progress measurement, and forecasting.
- Manage planning engineers and project controls teams.
- Standardize planning practices across projects.
- Coordinate planning activities with project managers, engineers, and contractors.
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports and dashboards.
- Monitor KPIs and provide management performance insights.
Qualifications & Competencies
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management; Master’s preferred.
