Role Overview
Ensure a safe and compliant work environment across project sites.
Review, evaluate, and implement safety programmes and procedures to prevent accidents, injuries, and occupational hazards.
Conduct inspections, monitor HSE compliance, and promote a safety culture aligned with company and legal standards.
Key Accountabilities
- Implement and monitor HSE plans, policies, and procedures.
- Conduct risk assessments and Job Hazard Analyses and implement control measures.
- Inspect project sites, equipment, and work practices for compliance.
- Lead incident investigations and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Provide HSE induction and technical training to employees, contractors, and site personnel.
Compliance and Reporting
- Manage hazardous material handling, storage, and disposal.
- Maintain HSE documentation in line with legislation, ISO 45001, and local authority codes.
- Maintain records, permits, and compliance reports for audits and management review.
- Stop and report unsafe activities or conditions.
