Project Planning Manager
The Planning Manager is responsible for developing, managing, and maintaining detailed project schedules while ensuring alignment with divisional and corporate planning objectives.
The role involves driving project performance through robust planning practices, schedule controls, resource forecasting, and proactive risk management.
Project Scheduling & Planning
- Develop and maintain project baseline schedules covering all project phases from initiation through closeout.
- Establish, monitor, and manage key milestones, deliverables, and project timelines.
- Integrate engineering, procurement, and construction activities into the master project schedule.
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to approved schedules.
- Update and revise schedules based on project changes, progress updates, and scope modifications.
- Conduct critical path analysis and recommend corrective actions where necessary.
Resource Management
- Forecast and monitor manpower, material, and equipment requirements.
- Ensure optimal resource allocation across project activities.
- Coordinate with Procurement and Logistics teams to prevent shortages and delays.
