Role Overview
Lead delivery of municipal water and wastewater conveyance projects across the Greater Toronto Area and Southwestern Ontario.
Support projects for municipalities and real-estate developers from planning through construction.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage municipal water and wastewater conveyance projects through planning, design, and construction phases.
- Prepare and review engineering studies, environmental assessment documents, reports, plans, calculations, and contract documents.
- Develop cost estimates, technical specifications, and tender packages.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and collaborate with senior engineers and project managers.
- Liaise with clients, regulatory agencies, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
- Assist with proposal development and technical project approaches.
- Support schedule, budget, quality, and resource planning objectives.
- Mentor junior engineering staff and designers.
- Support water and wastewater initiatives for other CIMA+ offices across Canada.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Professional Engineer license with PEO or eligibility for transfer.
- At least seven years of experience with municipal water and wastewater infrastructure, specifically linear conveyance systems.
