Role Overview
The employer is seeking an experienced Project Manager - MEP to join a client in the UAE on an outsourced basis.
The role manages and coordinates MEP projects, including execution, completion, quality, specifications, and safety compliance.
Responsibilities
- Plan, manage, and coordinate MEP projects from commencement through completion.
- Supervise daily MEP project activities at site and coordinate with project stakeholders.
- Ensure work follows approved drawings, specifications, schedules, and project requirements.
- Coordinate HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other MEP disciplines.
- Monitor manpower, materials, equipment, resources, project progress, and costs.
- Resolve technical, coordination, and site-related issues affecting progress.
- Conduct site inspections and monitor quality and compliance.
- Prepare reports and documentation and attend project progress meetings.
- Coordinate testing, commissioning, inspection, and handover activities.
- For HVAC projects, coordinate HVAC installation and related MEP activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, MEP engineering, or a related technical field.
- At least five years of relevant UAE experience in MEP project management.
- Experience managing and coordinating MEP projects is mandatory.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and ability to read and understand MEP drawings is required.
- UAE experience is mandatory.
- Additional MEP project management qualifications or certifications are advantageous.
- HVAC project or installation experience is advantageous.
- Strong site coordination, project execution, and team management experience is preferred.
- Strong project management, leadership, coordination, and communication skills are required.
- Immediate joiners or candidates with short notice periods are preferred.
