Project Manager for the Electrical and Automation Team - Doha, Qatar

Role Overview

Project Management

• Manage multiple MV System, MV Solution, and PA SOL projects within time, budget, and quality constraints.
• Prepare OGT and NX-Tools+ activities and manage factory transfers.
• Plan project scope, contracts, work packages, resources, schedules, documentation, organization, and interfaces.
• Create efficient workflows for project controlling and reporting.
• Monitor technical and commercial plan fulfillment and manage deviations.

Commercial and Stakeholder Management

• Monitor cash-flow planning and activate escalation procedures when needed.
• Report project status to customers, management, project teams, and stakeholders.
• Identify business opportunities and relevant customer decision-makers.
• Manage proposal and contract activities and evaluate the impact of changed requirements.
• Maintain customer, stakeholder, and subcontractor relationships.

Project Closeout

• Assess and document project status and manage identified risks.
• Manage project completion, closeout, acceptance, validation, and verification.
• Organize finalized handover of delivery units and services to the customer and involved parties.

Required Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in electrical, electronics, or instrumentation engineering is required.
• Five to seven years of project execution experience for MV system projects is required.
• Expert knowledge of MV switchgear configuration in NXTOOLS and OGT is a prerequisite.
• Experience with international projects, P&L responsibility, and international teams is required.
• Experience with system order execution involving customers, authorities, subcontractors, and factories is required.
• Experience in construction, commissioning, engineering, planning, and design of MV and protection systems is required.

Preferred Qualification

• Completed PMP or PM@Siemens certification is preferable.
• The ability to work across different cultures and demographic areas is expected.
