Role Overview
The Project Manager will lead utility-scale BESS projects from contract award through commissioning, acceptance, and warranty.
The role carries responsibility for schedule, cost, quality, risk, and customer delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the full project lifecycle from contract award through delivery, commissioning, acceptance, and warranty.
- Own project schedule, cost, quality, risks, deliverables, and overall execution performance.
- Coordinate engineering, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, construction, commissioning, and service activities.
- Manage customers and act as the primary interface with customers, EPCs, partners, and project stakeholders.
- Identify critical risks and drive cross-functional teams to resolve execution issues.
- Coordinate supply and delivery of battery systems, PCS, EMS, and other key BESS equipment.
- Build and lead cross-functional and cross-cultural project teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of large-scale engineering project management experience.
- Experience leading renewable energy projects.
- Strong schedule, cost, quality, risk, stakeholder, and contract management capabilities.
- Fluent English.
- Willingness to travel extensively or be based in the region.
Preferred Qualifications
- Successful delivery of large-scale BESS projects of 100 MWh or above is highly preferred.
- PMP, PgMP, or equivalent project management certification is a plus.
- Additional regional languages are a plus.
