Role Overview
Develop competitive technical solutions for utility-scale and commercial energy storage projects across international markets.
The role is titled BESS Solution Engineer / Solution Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop customized BESS solutions based on customer requirements, site conditions, grid requirements, and project objectives.
- Define system architecture and support selection and integration of batteries, PCS, BMS, and EMS.
- Lead customer technical discussions and provide support during proposals and commercial negotiations.
- Evaluate project feasibility and ensure compliance with grid codes, industry standards, and local requirements.
- Review customer specifications and identify technical requirements, risks, and deviations.
- Work with Sales, Engineering, R&D, and Delivery teams on technically and commercially competitive solutions.
- Track international energy storage markets, regulations, grid requirements, and technology trends.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Power Systems, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of energy storage industry experience, including at least 2 years supporting international utility-scale BESS projects.
- Strong knowledge of BESS architecture, battery systems, PCS, BMS, EMS, and charging and discharging characteristics.
- Familiarity with international grid codes, grid connection requirements, and energy storage regulations.
- Experience in solution design, technical proposals, or project implementation.
- Fluent English for technical and business communication; additional regional languages are a plus.
- Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Willingness to travel or be based in the region.
