Project Engineer role supporting planning, execution, and coordination of marine EPC construction projects.
The role covers engineering, procurement, subcontractor coordination, and site construction activities.
Projects must be delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with quality standards.
Workplace
- The role includes site construction activities and coordination with site teams on marine infrastructure projects.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate marine construction projects involving piling, dredging, reclamation, quay walls, jetties, breakwaters, and related works.
- Prepare and review technical submittals, shop drawings, method statements, material approvals, and engineering documents.
- Coordinate clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Monitor progress, risks, schedules, resources, quality, safety, procurement, and project interfaces.
- Prepare reports and site records and support variations, claims, and contractual documentation.
- Provide technical guidance to site teams and help resolve construction issues.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 8–12 years of experience in marine construction projects.
- Proven execution experience on marine EPC projects and marine infrastructure works.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, engineering principles, project coordination, project controls, QA/QC, HSE, and commercial matters.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
- Valid UAE driving license.
Preferred experience
- UAE or GCC marine construction experience is preferred.
- Experience with EPC contractors on large-scale marine infrastructure projects is preferred.
- Familiarity with FIDIC contract conditions is preferred.
