The Role

The practice is seeking Architects to contribute to projects across diverse sectors, scales, and locations.

Architects will contribute from early design through technical delivery and construction, with responsibility increasing with experience and project needs.

Recently qualified Architects may apply without previous experience at Architect level and will receive mentoring from senior team members.

Project and Design

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across all project stages.
  • Own defined design packages and deliver coordinated work to programme.
  • Develop creative proposals from concept and feasibility through detailed design.
  • Prepare drawings, models, diagrams, reports, and presentations for client approval.
  • Coordinate architectural design with structural, MEP, and specialist consultants.

Clients and Project Delivery

  • Contribute to client, consultant, and contractor meetings and communications.
  • Support project briefs, change management, statutory submissions, and design coordination.
  • Maintain project information and documentation to required standards.
  • Contribute to planning, technical submissions, tender information, and construction activities.
  • Review contractor information and support site visits, inspections, and snagging where appropriate.
  • Identify and escalate risks, issues, and potential scope changes.

People, Systems, and Development

  • Support and mentor junior team members and contribute to a collaborative studio culture.
  • Apply CAD, BIM, information management, and drawing standards.
  • Support project risk management, quality reviews, audit processes, and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain accurate timesheets and expense records.
  • Participate in mentoring, training, continuing professional development, and personal growth.

Qualifications and Experience

  • UK ARB registration with RIBA Part 3 qualification, or an appropriate international equivalent, is required.
  • Experience supporting architectural project design and delivery at one or more work stages is required.
  • Knowledge of project stages, construction methods, materials, standards, and specifications is required.
  • Knowledge of UK construction legislation, practice, and procedures, or equivalent Middle East knowledge, is required.
  • Experience on UK or international projects is advantageous; Middle East experience is beneficial.

Software and Communication Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in Rhino, Revit, and AutoCAD is essential.
  • Intermediate Adobe InDesign, working Adobe Photoshop and Enscape, and basic Word and Excel proficiency are required.
  • Grasshopper, Adobe Illustrator, and BIM workflow or model coordination platform experience are desirable.
  • Applicants must communicate design ideas through diagrams, sketches, illustrations, and effective presentations.
  • Excellent spoken and written English and the ability to produce clear, concise reports are required.

  • A strong design portfolio should show creativity, design thinking, technical awareness, and graphical communication.
  • The role requires a collaborative, adaptable, proactive, accountable, and continuously learning team member.
  • Architects should work with relative independence while maintaining regular communication with project and senior architects.

Working Arrangements

  • Hybrid working applies, with studio attendance governed by current practice policy.
  • Flexibility may be required based on project requirements and business needs.
  • Occasional travel may be required for meetings, workshops, site visits, and project work.
