Project Coordination
- Maintain and monitor project lists, schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures.
- Manage the site with subcontractors and coordinate daily and weekly tasks.
- Monitor daily site progress, update the client, and ensure project deadlines are met.
- Document meeting actions and decisions and provide administrative support.
- Develop project strategies and a project management calendar for goals and objectives.
- Prepare schedules and monitor progress.
Stakeholder and Documentation Management
- Ensure projects adhere to frameworks and maintain appropriate documentation.
- Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable.
- Manage stakeholder views toward the best solution.
- Chair and facilitate meetings and distribute minutes to project team members.
- Meet clients and present project progress.
Site Safety
- Ensure site activities comply with project safety plans and local safety regulations.
- Conduct daily site safety inspections and report hazards or unsafe practices.
- Ensure workers wear proper PPE and follow safe work procedures.
- Participate in safety meetings and toolbox talks.
- Report accidents, near misses, and safety concerns and take corrective action.
- Coordinate with the safety officer on site-specific safety measures.
- Ensure safe handling, storage, and disposal of lighting materials and equipment.
Quality and Handover
- Monitor installation work against project specifications, drawings, and quality standards.
- Conduct quality inspections and site walkthroughs to check workmanship.
- Review material deliveries against approved samples and specifications.
- Identify and address quality issues or defects with the site team.
- Maintain quality checks, test reports, and inspection records.
- Coordinate subcontractors to meet quality benchmarks and close punch-list items at handover.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electronics, electrical engineering, or an equivalent engineering discipline.
- At least two years of experience.
- Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
- Competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Project or Primavera is preferred.
- UAE driving license and own vehicle.
