Job Summary
Handle day-to-day inventory responsibilities while supporting the inventory team leader and store operations.
Receive stock, materials, equipment, supplies, or merchandise and maintain records of stocked quantities and values.
Inventory and Receiving
- Manage the inventory database for all stocks.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of received stock and report merchandise anomalies.
- Create GRNs for received merchandise and validate them against LPOs and invoices.
- Review supplier invoices for accuracy.
- Count, sort, and check incoming merchandise against requisitions and invoices.
Store and Stock Controls
- Create PRET and LTI documents as requested by the merchandising team.
- Keep Brand Promise products separate and hand them to the Brand Promise Officer.
- Update purchase return reports weekly and send them to the merchandising team.
- Ensure display items are authorized by the Store Manager and reflected on the POS.
- Manage HVS activities and keep the inventory log book updated.
- Maintain the stock room and follow store checklists and processes.
Inventory Reporting
- Assist with compiling SNP reports and conducting perpetual inventory counts.
- Assist with annual stock taking.
Experience and Qualifications
- 1–5 years of experience in inventory or warehouse management.
- A graduate qualification is preferred.
- Retail management knowledge or certification is preferred.
- Experience working with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel is listed.
