About the Role
Reportage Properties LLC is seeking a Project Engineer to monitor and oversee infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi. The role involves supporting the Senior Project Manager in planning, coordination, and delivery of development projects from design through handover.

Responsibilities
- Assist in day to day management of assigned projects and provide regular updates to Senior Project Manager
- Monitor contractor, consultant, and supplier performance against approved programs and milestones
- Review project progress reports, schedules, and identify potential delays and risks
- Coordinate with consultants for timely review of technical submissions and shop drawings
- Attend site inspections and progress meetings, prepare meeting minutes and action trackers
- Monitor construction activities for compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and HSE requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in construction or real estate development projects
- Experience in developer side project management preferred
- Strong understanding of construction contracts and project delivery processes
- Knowledge of Abu Dhabi authority requirements and approval processes
- Strong technical knowledge of civil, structural, architectural, and MEP works

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the day to day management of assigned projects and provide regular updates to the Senior Project Manager.
- Monitor contractor, consultant, and supplier performance against approved programs, milestones, and contractual obligations.
- Review project progress reports, schedules, recovery plans, and look ahead programs, and identify potential delays and risks.
- Coordinate with consultants to ensure timely review and approval of technical submissions, shop drawings, material submittals, and authority submissions.
- Follow up on authority approvals, permits, NOCs, inspections, and utility connections with relevant stakeholders.
- Attend site inspections and progress meetings with contractors, consultants, master developers, and authorities, and prepare meeting minutes and action trackers.
- Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, HSE requirements, and project procedures.
- Assist in reviewing variation orders, claims, extension of time requests, and commercial submissions, and provide technical recommendations.
- Coordinate with internal departments including Design, Procurement, Commercial, Legal, CRM, Marketing, Finance, and Handover teams to support project requirements.
- Maintain project documentation, correspondence, approvals, and records in accordance with company procedures.
- Track project risks, issues, and outstanding actions and ensure timely resolution through coordination with relevant parties.
- Support the preparation of management reports, KPI reports, project dashboards, and executive presentations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- Professional Engineering registration is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in construction or real estate development projects.
- Experience in developer side project management is preferred.
- Experience with high rise residential, mixed use, and infrastructure projects is preferred.
