Project Document Controller
Manage and organize all project documents in accordance with approved document control procedures.
Responsibilities
- Register, classify, distribute, and archive correspondence, drawings, reports, and technical documents.
- Maintain accurate document numbering and filing systems.
- Manage the submission, review, approval, and distribution of Submittals, Drawings, RFIs, Reports, and other project documents.
- Maintain strict version and revision control and ensure teams use the latest approved documents.
- Coordinate with design teams, consultants, contractors, and project personnel to ensure effective document flow.
- Maintain document logs and monitor document status, including Submitted, Approved, Rejected, and Returned documents.
- Manage official correspondence, letters, transmittals, and document distribution.
- Retrieve and provide project documents and information efficiently when required.
- Ensure confidentiality, security, and proper access control of project documentation.
- Prepare periodic document control reports highlighting document status, pending actions, and delays.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required records and documentation.
- Manage digital document systems such as Aconex, SharePoint, EDMS, or equivalent platforms.
