- Direct and oversee all phases of project management and construction management operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specified quality standards
- Develop comprehensive project strategies, timelines, and budgets; monitor progress against established metrics and adjust plans as needed
- Lead, mentor, and manage project teams, including project managers, engineers, and construction professionals; foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
- Identify, analyze, and mitigate project risks; implement proactive solutions to address potential challenges and ensure project continuity
- Manage stakeholder relationships and communications, providing regular updates to executive leadership, clients, and regulatory bodies
- Oversee contract management, procurement processes, and vendor relationships to optimize costs and ensure compliance with project requirements
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and regulatory compliance throughout all project phases
- Analyze project performance data and financial metrics; prepare detailed reports and recommendations for senior management
- Collaborate with cross functional departments to align project objectives with organizational goals and strategic initiatives
- Champion innovation and best practices in project management methodologies and construction management processes
Requirements
- Minimum 20 years of progressive experience in project management and construction management
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a director level or senior leadership position
- Proven expertise in managing large scale, complex projects with budgets exceeding $10 million
- Advanced knowledge of project management methodologies (PMBOK, PRINCE2, or equivalent)
- Strong proficiency with project management software (Microsoft Project, Oracle Primavera, or similar)
- Demonstrated expertise in budget management, financial analysis, and cost control
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience with risk management and mitigation strategies in construction environments
- Knowledge of construction industry regulations, safety standards, and compliance requirements in the UAE or Middle East region
- Professional certification in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) is preferred
