Responsibilities
- Provide overall leadership for the planning, execution, and successful delivery of the project from mobilization through final handover
- Manage all aspects of project execution, including engineering coordination, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning, and client handover
- Lead multidisciplinary project teams to ensure delivery in line with approved schedules, budgets, quality standards, and HSE requirements
- Oversee major underground construction activities, including deep gravity sewer tunnels, TBM operations, shaft construction, deep excavations, tunnel segment installation, link sewer works, and terminal pump stations
- Direct project planning, risk management, commercial performance, cost control, contract administration, and stakeholder engagement
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, authorities, and key project stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, statutory regulations, and company standards throughout the project lifecycle
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
- Master's Degree and PMP certification are advantageous
- Minimum 20 years of experience delivering major civil infrastructure and underground construction projects
- Demonstrated experience in deep sewer tunnels, strategic sewerage tunnels, wastewater infrastructure, metro tunnels, or other large underground utility projects
- Strong expertise in TBM tunneling, deep shaft construction, gravity sewer systems, underground civil structures, and pump stations
- Previous experience delivering mega infrastructure projects within the UAE or GCC region is highly desirable

Role Description
- We are seeking an experienced Project Director to lead the delivery of a major tunnel project.
- This leadership role is responsible for the successful execution of large scale underground infrastructure works, including deep gravity sewer tunnels, TBM tunneling, shafts, sewer link works, and terminal pump stations.
