- Design and develop standard and customized cables based on customer specifications and technical requirements.
- Perform electrical and mechanical cable design calculations and provide technical solutions.
- Ensure cable designs comply with UL standards and international specifications.
- Prepare cable construction drawings using AutoCAD.
- Support product development, cost optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with Sales, Manufacturing, Planning, and customers/EPC contractors on technical requirements.
- Maintain technical documentation and update designs in ERP systems (SAP experience preferred).
- Provide technical support during tendering and production stages.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in Cable Design / Technical Design Engineering within the cable manufacturing industry
- Hands on experience with UL standards and UL approved cable designs
- Strong knowledge of cable construction, materials, and manufacturing processes
- Experience with AutoCAD for cable drawings
- Knowledge of SAP/ERP systems is preferred
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem solving ability
