Responsibilities
- Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for the project delivery team
- Manage the complete construction lifecycle from mobilisation through completion and handover
- Oversee civil, structural, and architectural works including foundations, concrete structures, steel works, building envelope, finishes, and external works
- Ensure successful delivery of the project within programme, budget, quality, and safety requirements
- Lead coordination between construction teams, consultants, client representatives, subcontractors, and MEP teams
- Manage project risks, progress, commercial matters, variations, and stakeholder relationships
- Drive quality standards and ensure compliance with project specifications and client requirements
- Lead and mentor multidisciplinary project teams
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Architecture
- Minimum 20 years of construction experience
- Proven experience as a Project Director / Project Manager delivering major construction projects
- Mandatory experience delivering Data Centre projects
- Strong background in civil, structural, and architectural construction delivery
- Experience working with Tier 1 Main Contractors is highly preferred
- Excellent leadership, communication, and client management skills

Role Overview
- A leading Tier 1 Main Contractor in the Gulf region is looking for an experienced Project Director to lead the delivery of a major Data Center project.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management and delivery of the project, with a strong focus on Civil, Structural, and Architectural construction works.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for the project delivery team.
- Manage the complete construction lifecycle from mobilisation through completion and handover.
- Oversee civil, structural, and architectural works including foundations, concrete structures, steel works, building envelope, finishes, and external works.
- Ensure successful delivery of the project within programme, budget, quality, and safety requirements.

Requirements

- Candidates with Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering educational backgrounds will not be considered.
- Candidates whose experience is mainly focused on MEP/Electrical/Mechanical disciplines will not be shortlisted.
