Role Overview

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or structural engineering is required.
• At least 20 years of professional experience with major international or regional contractors is required.
• At least 5 years in a high-level executive project or construction leadership role is required.
• Major stadium or similarly complex venue delivery experience is required.
• Main Contractor or Managing Contractor experience integrating specialist subcontractors is required.
• Major joint venture experience is required.
• KSA or GCC mega-project experience is strongly preferred.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills are required.

Project Leadership

• Lead project execution, testing, commissioning, and handover.
• Manage the venue lifecycle from construction through final handover.
• Coordinate work-package contractors and specialist subcontractors.
• Represent joint venture partner interests while maintaining collaboration.

Technical and Operational Competencies

• Apply design management, procurement, construction planning, site logistics, and technical interface expertise.
• Oversee system testing and commissioning.
• Use contractual awareness, budget and cost management, risk mitigation, and baseline schedule control.
• Use project management methodologies including Agile and Waterfall.
• Use Microsoft Project or Primavera for project planning and tracking.

Stakeholder and Team Management

• Interface with Employer representatives, program management consultants, design teams, and government authorities.
• Lead a large, multicultural, and multidisciplinary project team in a high-pressure environment.
• Use strong communication, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Commercial and Financial Management

• Manage project budgets and financial forecasts to support delivery within financial constraints.
• Maintain contractual awareness and control project risks and schedules.
